Le 24 février 2015 s’est tenue à Montpellier une table ronde rassemblant les membres du projet « La Thèbes des morts » inscrit dans le cadre du LabEx Archimède. Les participants ont exposé le bilan d’un an de travail et, chacun dans son domaine a montré comment, au cours du Ier millénaire avant J.-C., s’est manifestée la dynamique de la pensée thébaine dans le domaine funéraire. On February 24th 2015, in Montpellier a workshop was held gathering the members of the project “La Thèbes des morts” as part of the LabEx Archimède. The participants have presented an overview of their work after one year, each of them, in their field, demonstrating how, during the Ist millenary B.C, the Theban way of thinking has shown in the funerary field. Cet article étudie les têtes de massues avec ce que l’on décrit habituellement comme un « décor de losanges évoquant un végétal », découvertes dans le complexe mortuaire du roi Teti à Saqqara (début de la 6e dynastie). Compte tenu de divers éléments de preuve, un tel motif rappellerait plutôt la crinière d’un lion et/ou la touffe de sa queue au lieu de représenter un végétal.
This article studies some maceheads with a hard-tipped leaf scale motif discovered in the mortuary complex of king Teti at Saqqara (early 6th dynasty). Considering several pieces of evidence, such pattern would recall the lion’s mane and/or tuft of its tail instead of depicting some kind of vegetable, according to previous interpretations.

Cet article décrit les types de mât que l’on trouve dans les navires de l’Égypte ancienne de l’Ancien au Nouvel Empire, qu’il s’agisse du mât simple, bipode ou tripode. Il met ensuite en lumière la manière dont étaient constitués les sommets de ces mâts. Enfin, sont examinés les différents types d’emplantures dans lesquels étaient logés les pieds de mâts.
This article describes the types of mast found in Ancient Egyptian ships from the Old Kingdom to the New Kingdom, whether single, bipod or tripod. It then looks at how the head of these masts were made. Finally, it examines the different types of mast supports in which the heel of the mast were housed.
